2019年4月25日，国际牙医师中国区(International College of Dentists Section XIII-China, ICD China Section)2019年学术年会暨院士授予大会在中国西部博览城举行。中华口腔医学会刘洪臣副会长、国际牙医师(ICD)中国区周学东主席、ICD十五区How Kimchuan主席(马来西亚)、ICD十五区William Cheung副主席(中国香港)和ICD十五区John Ling秘书长(中国香港)出席了会议。大会由ICD中国区陈谦明秘书长主持。国际牙医师(ICD)中国区2019年学术年会的主题是口腔疾病与全身疾病。大会邀请了Dr.How Kimchuan教授、Dr.Pan Yaping教授和Chen Qianming教授分别做了题为“3D Digital Technology in implant restoration incorporating with Orthodontic movements to achieve optimal functional and aesthetic results”、“ Correlation between periodontal diseases and systemic diseases---basic and clinical research findings”和“Manifestation of syphilis in oral mucosa: Diagnostic strategies”的主题讲演。本次大会时值ICD中国区成立十周年庆典，刘洪臣副会长代表中华口腔医学会在新院士授予大会上致辞，ICD中国区周学东主席向与会嘉宾介绍了ICD和发展使命，以及ICD中国区的发展。中华口腔医学会刘洪臣副会长、ICD中国区周学东主席、秘书长陈谦明教授、ICD十五区主席How Kimchuan、副主席William Cheung和秘书长John Ling为中国区51位新当选的院士颁发ICD证书、ICD金钥匙和金别针。
